French Open LIVE: Andy Murray sparks injury fear as Djokovic umpire brutally dug out | Tennis | Sport

Despite taking part in the latest-ever finish in French Open history, Novak Djokovic did not want to criticise the schedule-makers and instead focused on the positives of his win in the early hours of the morning.

With no Wimbledon-style curfew in place, matches started in the Parisian evening have to be played to completion, but Djokovic was more than happy on this occasion.

“I don’t want to get into it [the schedule]. I have my opinions but I think there are great things to talk about in this match today,” said Djokovic.

“Both Lorenzo [Musetti] and my performances stand out so I don’t want to be talking about the schedule. I think some things could have been handled a different way but there’s also a beauty in winning a match [so late].”
