LAGUNA WOODS, Calif.—Multiple people have been shot at a church in Laguna Woods, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The shooting occurred on the 24000 block of El Toro Road, the department reported on Twitter at 2 p.m. on May 15.

Police have detained one person and uncovered a weapon potentially used in the shooting.
It is unclear how many casualties there are.
